We are looking for a new milling unit with loader.
Can someone give us some pro's and contra's about the machines.
Is the imes 350i easy to handle like the matik?

    Need your advice.

    Thanks

    Easy to handle?
    Not sure what you mean.
Pros of AG: elegant integration of systems. Great coolant section and self cleaning system.
Cons of AG: Closed system for tools and CAM. Limited ability to mill metals (900W spindle)

Pros of 350i: CAM is as open as you are able to modify it, powerful spindle for milling all materials. 6mm Shank tools means faster and stronger tools.
Cons of 350i: coolant section is weak, changer manager requires all jobs to be set up in advance (you can not add a job to the CAM list once the sequence has started.

Is it possible to add a job in CAM to the AG machines?

I mean that amann girrbach software is most of the time sort of "dummie-proof".

In other software i worked with, it's a little bit more thinking.
