We are reselling the condor here in the united states please contact us at Evolution dental http://evolutiondental.net let me know if you would like a demo!
they have FDA now
I tried to get a demo from Condor twice but both times they rescheduled. I guess IDs and the midwinter they were just too busy.
What's the price on these?
Do you do live demos on patients?
They can also scanning plaster model or share french bacteria !
Are you new US reseller Joshua ?
FDA ? what does it change ? they have CE since 4 years and not too much users au pays du cocq .....
What do you think about the last update ? do you use it ?
Last but not least, we are finalizing the development of the full-arch update we showcased at the show. Keep an eye out for the release this quarter!
Received my first condor scans. It actually exists. Does anyone know how to import the margin the doctor has drawn and bring it into exocad? I'd upload the file here but it wont let me
If you list the file type, I think Mr. 3D can add it to the upload file list.
About importing the margin marking, if there is a .ply or .obj file you may be able to import it as a texture scan and see the margin.
You would have to draw it in exocad yourself and match as close as possible. Maybe in new version?
With Planscan and iTero those scanners have a 'ditch' function. It divides the prep from the rest of the mesh at the margin. When you auto find the margin in exocad it goes right to where the margin was marked by the doc.
Maybe someone with a Condor can chime in if this is s feature available with that scanner. @joshuajakson
Its a .ply file and an .xyz (margin)
You might be able to import as generic visualization mesh , works with the 3m files when it doesn't come in automatic
When you import the jaw scan push Ctrl and select that .ply file as well. See if that allows you to see the margin.
I tried that. It ends up meshing with the scan and turns the same color
Here is a condor scan
I'm having issue getting the bite to register properly. Its as if the bite scan doesn't have enough data. I haven't been to thrilled about this scanner yet
Toothman, you may want to contact this guys :http://evolvedentistry.com/. They support condor and exocad
Thanks, but its the scans I'm receiving. If you look at the scans in the dropbox link, the bite registration scan is different than the separate scans of the upper and lower
I'm also looking at the scans and the 2nd molar on the distal looks washed out... how can that be?
Poor scanning technique equals missing data.
Most IO scanners auto close holes in mesh.
