    DMC hello

How many schools are still teaching our trade?

I know our local school will be closed soon here in Richmond Va

There is One in Durham, NC

What about the rest of the country?

What about in Other countries? How do the French, Italians, etc learn?

The one accredited school in Florida will close permanently after this year.

That's crazy. Florida requires labs to be certified, right?

Or at least to have a cdt on site?

No, not yet. Texas and Kentucky are the only ones I am aware of that require CDT.

Bummer, I have no source for interns and padawans any more.

Here, not enough young dental tech to replace the old ones ! the age of pyramide .....

French youth want to earn money but do not get tired at work ! Its the same for french dentist !!!

Good situation for dental prosthetic importers, from China, Turquie, Madagascar , North Africa and other ...

from your french correspondent in Brittany !

They look at the sky while waiting for the money falls ...

I think high professional regulation is a good thing !

I have get all dental tech examinations we can find in France , I have get all diplomas (7 years of my time ! )

    but ......

We don't have the right (the hight !) regulation that the country need , just a poor light dentaltech formality !

    What french shit ! :arghh:

But french dental tech schools didn't anticipate 3D dental technologies , just now we can see new private dental schools who teach 3D dental technologies Cad and Cam (who run with industrial dental capitals as Straumann, Nobel and other crooks ....)

8 lieter and you got it mr 2

we have seperate way s dr.s are 10 semester so 5 years at the university and after that 1 i think its 1 year they have to work as assistant in a praxis and after that they can open their own or add 5 years additional education to become a surgery

techs make an education called duale ausbildung normal 3 and a half years we work in a lab at my time 4 days in the lab 1 day at school after that we have to make a examination than we are Geselle at my time after 5 years i could make my master either in full time school 10 month or evening school around 2 years finishing with theoretical but more difficult 2 weeks practical examination than you are Meister which allows you to open a lab.
