How much for the upgrade? Also do you happen to have a link for the latest dental manager and dental scan software? I contacted shining3d for it but got no response.

    $6,666 for new D-SEX Pro.
    $4,999 for D-SEX original
    $3000 for upgrade scanhead assembly

    Insane fast scanning speeds!

Choose Blue or White projector light color.

Blue is more accurate I think, but no color scanning.

We will have the scanners in stock May. They are not shipping yet.

Where did you get your scanner from Dr. Fro?

You are welcome to call us and get latest software.

I purchased mine from BlueSkyBio. I'll keep the upgrade in mind once I hear if it's worth it.

I`ve got Ds-ex for half a year I love that little scanner but all of the sudden I have a need for hybrids.
Is it worth upgrading the ds-ex to pro or just get the ds-300 ?

I’ve been using this scanner on and off for a couple of months now . Really quite nice data but extremely poor software.

hopefully next update in a few month bring some bigger changes but scan data is tripple AAA so if anyone with balls out wants to compare i am ready

everything below 4 micron markers stumpf whatever you want always 3 scans each compared with the other and not only over 30 mm as in iso blablabla

and to answer baslers question i think you can do it with the right markers with EX but blue is better less surface issues not sure the 300 is real better with his deviation results than the pro i know a guy he makes bars with his EX up to 8 markers but he mills them inhouse

looks like they are real accurate handle them as a baby wear gloves maybe use a small hand wrench care with conical interfaces and screw forces .versus torque peek tends to deform if not well handeld

Merge impression scan with stone die scan.
I am very happy with DOF scan software, it is very flexible and user friendly but my scanner is first generation and is no longer able to preform like I want it to.

I know I can do it in exocad but my main cad is 3shape so I would like to add the extra die in the scanner program so I can easily transfer it to multiple different cad programs. Also would like a simplified job setup in the scan program. I would like to set the case up once to be able to scan the impression and the stone die under one order. It’s not enough that it can be done but it must be done efficiently with the least amount of steps involved.

Ok today I found out that each side of a triple tray scan has a point where you can add die scans. But make sure you do not trim any data from the impression scans until the very end otherwise you won’t be able to alien the scans.
    I’m getting closer
