I think you have a lot of strange things on your exocad !!!
No minimum default thickness, no connectors ...
why not download the original version (this one I use ...) to resolve all these problems ?

    ;)

It can be done. The bar file will merge with your reconstruction, and automatically trim itself to the copings next to it. Upload the real case, I can show you how to do it.

There is no path of draw on this case.

Jake did it, no problems! (Kvonn3gut)

He is uploading it now to somewhere.

Of Course you have have a bar segment mixed into a Crown&Bridge Bridge.....

    Even Two bar segments.

    ??

    What's the issue again? LOL

In this case you already have the pre-op model. So, save the upperjaw scan as a plain stl. Do the same with your pre-op model. This will leave you with two plain .stl files.

Now, make a new case, set it up as an anatomic wax-up. Click design. The software will prompt you to choose a jaw scan. Choose your two .stl files, be sure the waxup is in the correct position, then continue as you normally would.

You can always link this waxup with the rest of your restoration, if need be. But for now, because you have an exact scan of what you want it to look like, I would just do this.

If you are ever designing one in the future, just set it up as two copings with a bar segment in between. As long as the materials are the same, it will merge the files with no issues.

And 2thm8ker is right, the path of draw on this case is terrible. Be sure to take care of that.

I think that Andrea wants all of these units splinted from the job order page?? Would that be the problem getting the connectors to show up before merging?

Yes, all these units must be merged together, the bar segment with the copings and the coping together with the connectors :) It should be one piece.

Obviously the bars and the attachments must have the same insertion axis, here's the problem...

Thank you all for these mindstorming posts :)

you could just set up those individual units as a waxup, and set up the rest of the case as normal. There should be no issues connecting all the pieces.
