    Hi, @French Cadman
It sounds very interesting, but I am not very understanding of the process you said
There are some questions, please help me:
    1. I downloaded the file, it seems a bit strange, all the parts concentrated in the same folder,
I can''t put it in the library and do it directly. Did I download the error? (Fig.1)
    2. I open scanmaker and Connection, they look at the absolute coordinates are consistent, don't need to adjust Z, but there will be many faces are not connected, how can I get them together? (Fig.2&3)
    3. Is the Connection data of ZZ system real size?
Such as Astra Osseospeed system 3.0, interface should be 12-shaped, but this file does not look sharp angle, if I use this file processing into customized abutment, will not be fit or mirco-move? (Fig.2&3)

    Holà camarade !

I was thinking you want to create your own library , not a copy from Enrico .....
Do you really need all Tyrol gadgets you have in this folder ?
That's why I created my library to only select what I use and the finest stl files from everywhere , do you use wine glasses from Bordeaux and from Bourgogne if you only drink Belgium beer ?

If yes so you need to remesh to connect all the faces you show as I did in the past before creating my new FC library

You can do that in Blender , I did without french version who doesn't exist .....

But a real good Bordeaux out of these small Belgian bottles heaven on earth.

As you said, I want to build my own library,
and because ZZ have more implant system data, I think from their library easier to get what I want, I just need to pick useful files for me,
But I have not used Blender, can you teach me how to remesh to connect all the faces? or has a teaching video link available to me.
    thanks!

hello I am looking for someone to create an implant library for us for 3shape and exocad I have found the scan bodys we like using along with the ti bases and 3d analogs we like please let us know if anyone is interested in taking on this project

Mike i do not think it is possible to create for 3shape.

Why do you feel the need to reinvent the wheel if you don't mind me asking.

Frenchcadman and brad are two of the only guys I know of that can do this correctly

hey I wanted to manufacture the ti bases and scan bodys myself

I thought about this since we talked.

Sure, I considered a lathe many times over the past decade but I really think it is harder then you may think.
Also, the profit from this stuff is not much.

You are going to make CAD library for manufacturing Implant models and your new analog will fit that?
The design work for this could exceed more time and money than you wanted to invest.
I mean, to make a full implant library with all parts that someone would want to buy.

Hi all! I need help with exocad. Implant system Alph-Bio Tec. Here is the issue: I am trying to create a model in modelcreator in exocad to be printed with implant analogs for 3d printed model. Once I tried to create one - half way through the process exocad tells me, that "some lab analogs could not be loaded due to...". So I downloaded the fresh library of analogs and placed them where they are supposed to be (they weren't there), however, I get the same message. Maybe I have to rename them somehow? Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks! Here is the screenshot. 0-02-04-288f43db56855f785cf091e3464ada0ead1d2dfd72d44c75c21d4ae56a4fb451_full.jpg

The only libraries in version 6136 with corresponding DIM analogs for Model Creator are NT Trading and Medentika systems. You will need to use their scan bodies and analogs.

You can see the engine build of exocad in the lower right hand corner of the CADApp window during design.

It is not a question of installing the library properly in exocad. Only 3 implant part companies have libraries complete with DIM analogs right now. I haven't checked the new beta release, but DESS is supposed to have their implant library with DIM analogs in the new version of exocad.

There are a few thread here with questions about making an implant library with DIM analogs for exocad. No one here has made one, yet.

Depends on how much effort you want to put into it. You could be the first here to make a library with DIM analogs??

As you can see in error message, implant library and analogs have got missmatch in components naming.
libraries folders names should be the same.
Then library_name : implant_name : implant size. In this way should be named everythinng in config files.
    You can check attached image.

This screenshot is from lab analog libs both.
I wrote about connection implant lib >> analog lib.
On picrelated earlier there are two notepad windows. Left is for implant lib cfg, right is for lab analog lib.

According to screenshot with error, I can say, that there is no implant library folder called ALpha-Bio-Tec_Scan_Body_10mm
Or there is no keyword for implant type IHInternalHex in implant library cfg. Or there is no keyword for implsnsize/scanmarker 5024CCTB

    But this is only IMHO
