In Sirona system ,the position of screw channel is in CAM sofware

When we converted files in past for Sirona.....the file had many layers!

We deleted so many layers to only have what we needed.

This was various tool-compensation layers for the different Cerec mills. (Ball-end tools vs/ Grinding diamonds with flat-end)

Also a layer for 3d printing, etc...

I think you need to open that stl file in another program and you may find the screw channel is actually still there and you need to mark and delete a layer of mesh that cover the hole.

Post up your .stl file here!

Sirona use the preformed block that's you'll never see the screw channel in your design.

That has nothing inside. Just like a kids beach ball. Missing everything. This is glue to a ti base? If so....then next time scan ti base and design regular crown on top and add screw channel after sirona cad

This is a scan from the Doc. Is there maybe something on his end he did wrong or is it just with inlab software, screw-retained with Ti-base cant export the .stl without the screw channel?

That would be awesome! Doesn't let me upload the file with this extension on here it says. Do you have an email I can send the file? Thanks

I succeed to extract the designed crown with screw channel and Ti base interface. I'll send you the final file.

    How?

I didnt see anything to make that happen in the stl file

It really tough to have the final result. you should extract each file separately and convert all together.

This is no problem using the right SW.
Look at the pictures, done with Inlab 16 SW.
If anyone need give me a pm.

Thanks man!! Its ok, I'm milling on a zirconia puck. Long crown designed to stop the opposing tooth from supraerupting. Is it difficult? I have another one I need done like this from the same Dr. named (second.lab in the dropbox) Can you or someone show me how to do this? Thanks!

If you have Cad15 or 16 do your constuction and donĀ“t set the icon close hole doing your *stl export.
Doing this way you will get the result you have seen in my picture.

    good luck!

I don't have the sirona Cad Software. I used different meshing softwares to extract the right file.
