I have a Screw Retained crown that an account sent me a Core3d scan body.
    Core3d only deals with 3shape.

    I'm with Exocad.

Is there a way that I would be able to design the crown?

It seems like the only way would be for me to send everything to Core3d. I would rather not send anything to them. They are just a place I would rather not support (Glidewell jr.)

Anyone know of any work around?

There is no way I know of unless you make a custom implant library using that scan body.

Easiest way to avoid these situations is to supply your clients with the scan bodies that work
with the library you use or tell them where to purchase them from.

That's right, I have all of the Atlantis intra-oral scan bodies for the docs nextdoor. I'll be adding scan bodies for other companies as time goes along. That way if they want OEM on OEM, I'll be able to provide it

I hope this helps, i had a similar situation with an IOS. I used an imlpant analog and scanned both scanflags on it. Then expert mode allign meshes... kind of time consuming

Does your scan come in with the scan body in the file? What is the purpose of doing an additional scan? Our scans have the scan body in place and we just move forward. Any chance you can get the doc to take an implant level impression and a digital to do a comparison? Kind of trouble shoot it in real life. That's time consuming, but well worth the effort if you find the hiccup.
