If I have a .stl file of a sectioned model, is it possible to connect the parts within the mesh and then make it watertight using MeshLab, netfabb basic, Meshmixer, etc.? Basically I'm trying to do what exocad Model Creator would do. I don't care if it takes a lot of steps I just want to do this to a few models and see if I am able to mill a small model here for M and D contacts before I get the exo add-on.

If you want I could upload a file from model creator for you to mill?
It's my first attempt at using Model Creator.

That would be awesome. Are you planning on sending out files from Model Creator to have models w/ removable dies and opposing made or solid models just for contacts?
    Thanks

Models with removable dies. This is a hollow bottom model.

If you need a solid model stl to mill. I can load one when I get some time later today.

Thanks 2th, that model looks like it may be for printing? Honestly I'm not sure, this model fabrication is all new to me. Does Model Creator have an output for printed models and on for milled? If you have a small solid model you don't mind posting that would be cool. Seriously though only if you have time, at this point I'm just screwing around seeing if I can create more work for myself. Thanks again

Hey Toast, I have a solid model file, but for some reason I am getting an error message of the upload attempt.
    I'll try again later.
