Hey guys, a couple years ago I made a few post-cores by scanning the model and impression, merging the files etc... Doable but to time consuming, analog was faster.

Is there a digital way now that’s faster, easier or better than analog ?

Draw up some post designs with different diameters, but same top design. Print them up, scan in place. Make an "implant" library and use the posts like scan bodies.
Pretty sure there is a thread here somewhere about this and some stl files of different diameters as well.
