Hi, thanks, it's good news for me. But in set there is no any cd or usb flash with drivers or something like that. It could be a problem to me, to start work with it? Or not? Its hard to install this scanner in pc? Maybe pc has had some special things inside, or not? Thanks:))

Pc is not speciali5 or 7, 8gb ram and nvidia grahic will work. But you need scansoftware and key to work with. Best is to contact smart optics, they are very helpfull.

Hi...The method I always use to remove parts that are bad anyways is to get a nail clipper, clip the leads off flush with the board on both sides, add a little new solder or electronics flux, then use a can of compressed air and a soldering iron to clean out the holes. I personally prefer the compressed air method to the solder-sucker method, as it seems to clean the hole out better.

    Bonjour,

Firstly, I would like to thank you team. You realy help me with all you data you have posted on this forum about this scanner.
I have a smartoptics scanner for a personal use. not for business. This scanner was replaced by new one more faster and accurate by my previous company.
Anyway, I'm working in a cad cam and in the 3D print domain during now 11 years. But today I'm blocked. :) Yes in fact my scanner show this message: pmtloaderror (see the picture attached ). when i start the application. it look likes an issue of the Calibration file. If you have an idea or can help me it will be very cool :).

    Best regards

I think you need that file from old pc or from a disk. It is common to have a machine specific cal file, or a file that matches your calibration part serial number.
