Someone in usa bought one and a month later called me and asked if I wanted to trade for DOF HD.
I know where it is if anyone wants to try it.

I never try and have no opinion myself.

if its lower than 7k with taxes then it can have a small foot print in the market... at least for surgeons for implant guide planing and ortho clinicians

Any updates on this scanner? Would something like this be accurate enough to scan implant scan bodies?

For singles and small bridge the DS-EX would work.
    but....
    The DS300 is really nice!!
Premium Japanese lens on cameras from Pentax
Expensive Point Grey Research cameras from North America.
Very few actual Chinese parts! Very similar to quality of German scanners! Surprise surprise!

Dual USB 3.0 connection to PC for fast data-transfer rate

I think DS300 would be great for bars and bridges.
Even the cheap little DS-EX has decent scan data.

OK OK it sounds like a great scanner from your words... can you compare to medit and dof production? Not because thei are top quality but because they rule market with good ROI. we need to now the sh*t we are getting here.
    Thank you

It is a great scanner, and software is still needing some help to be at the top of list.

We send requests for many software changes.

In March they say new version will be completed.

The hardware is really good stuff! Lots of accessories included.

    Soon software will be better.

Nobody is calling and complaining about anything, but we know a few things to save some clicks.

    Just minor stuff.

Spare parts are cheap and easy to install.
No need for sending scanner for service.

would be so great to get a sample scan... maybe with scan sprayed titanium bases as straumann variobase or universal base from nobel
