I'm not sure yet. I'll get all the particulars this week. What did DOF scanner did Origin sell?

Some B&D DOF scanners were closed and require a different circuit board swapped or something like that for some reason? Not just software changed. Also, most of the B&D sold scanners were the original Freedom that had small chamber, and projector with up to One year life-span. Not sure if they make the projectors anymore?

The HD, and UHD had better projectors and larger chamber area

That's good information to have, Scott. I'll ask all the questions I can think of when we talk.

-- I just bought Smart Optics scanBox.
There are always some holes and sharp edges are ( in some area) round after scanning.
Rescan-> triggering scan doesn't solve all the voids.
    Any suggestions?

Keep a look on your settings, an maybe the part which isn`t sharp was shadowed during scanning. have you scanned this part seperatly without neighbor?

    Kongo-Otto Love on first bite!

Sharp circular abutment margins are hard to scan. place Minimum 1mm of scan wax below the margin, unsharpen it.
