How are metadata xml files created for exocad tooth libraries? Is this generated automatically and is there a special used for this purpose???

I just copy the xml file from generic tooth library.
This is easier than trying to write one. Not sure if there are differences in each tooth library metadata xml file, never looked. In the instructions for model editor it recommends copying generic metadata xml.

Do xml files have any role during construction? I don't think so, I've been using some of them without the xml without any issue.

No computer expert here by any means, but xml files give humans the ability to alter the software behavior without having to understand code.
Do you notice any difference with how the teeth are proposed in exo in the libraries without xml files?

For anatomical library, it just better placement for tooth in relation to Mesial/Distal and Buccal/Lingual.

Without this, the software is sometimes wrong placement.
