Rhino is good with curves and 3dm

    Not good with stl

    What exactly are you doing?

I have been working in Rhinoceros + grasshopper for a long time, writing plugins to make my work easier. Now there is a need to mill PMMA in two stages, first, rough milling of (model №1) with a reduced gum, then I take out PMMA, fill in the red plastic, put it back, and you need to mill already according to (model №2) in which there is no reduced gum. I managed to do it but without the second model, just 1 model was manually reduced. Therefore, I am looking for a way to unload the STL of the very design of the teeth in Rhinoceros. To do what was originally intended.

I had the exact same idea 10 years ago.
Meet with SUM3d developers at my lab to discuss this maybe 6 or 7 years ago.

You don't need Rhino at all. Just exocad and good cam
